Founders' Day
Wayland’s Founders’ Day made history as our largest Day of Giving yet—surpassing our goal of $100,000 with over $103,000 raised from 170 individuals! From all of us at Wayland, thank you for making a difference and helping us reach our goal.
Founders' Day, our new day of giving, was a day to come together and celebrate our shared past while ensuring a vibrant future for Wayland Academy. The Wayland community, near and far, had an opportunity to honor the Academy's rich history and invest in the next generation of Wayland leaders.
Donors could choose from nine different Academy categories—Academics, Athletics, Performing Arts, Scholarships & Financial Aid, STEAM, Student Activities & Transportation, Student Wellness, Visual Arts, and Area of Greatest Need (Unrestricted)—to allocate their gifts. There was also the option to form a virtual team to help spread the word about the event to family and friends.
Note: Founders' Day replaced our annual Waylandtines Day.
