Life at Wayland

At Wayland, you can launch rockets during class time, enjoy dinner with your friends, land the leading role in the school play, and learn how to shoot the perfect layup—all while being supported by teachers, mentors, coaches, and classmates.

Our school is about more than just academics. From varsity sports offerings, our music and theatre programs, and more than 20 student clubs to choose from, there are plenty of ways for you to get involved and stay active while learning.

Every day is different at Wayland Academy, but an abundance of activities that connect our community is a constant. Between the academic day, athletic practice, and study hall, there is time for students to unwind. From 5:45 to 8:00 pm, students usually have the chance to enjoy dinner, hang out with friends, and unwind.
