Dining on campus is provided by Sodexo Food Services and led by a campus legend: Chef Richard. Students enjoy delicious choices at every meal, and the staff is very responsive to suggestions for new additions to the Wayland menu. The kitchen earned as a Blue Zones Project Approved™ restaurant, while Wayland has become the first boarding school in the world to receive this designation. Blue Zones Project is a community-led well-being improvement initiative designed to make healthier choices easier by encouraging simple changes to environment, policy, and social networks. Learn more about the Blue Zones initiative at their website.
Because Wayland is a boarding school where many students live on campus, we do our best to provide the comforts of home in our kitchen. Wayland's dining staff can accommodate students with a wide variety of allergies and dietary restrictions (including gluten-free, vegan, and lactose-free options).
If you have any questions about assistance with food allergies, please speak with Chef Richard directly or by email.
