While Wayland Academy is known as a residential campus, 25 percent of our students live locally and go home to their families at the end of the day.
Throughout the academic day and on weekends, day students fully participate in the Wayland community, traveling with their mentor groups, participating in weekend and evening activities, and so much more. Every student participates in a staff led mentor group that reflects the diversity on campus. Each day student is also assigned to a residence hall to participate in school competitions and other events. Day Students enjoy the benefits of the residential community while living at home at the same time.
Our day students benefit from making friends from more than 25 different countries and 10 states. This expands their horizons and exposes them to global connections in a way that is unmatched by any other high school in Wisconsin.
