Student Life

Your family is about to get a whole lot larger. Wayland is a place where students both learn and love.

Strong faculty-student relationships, regular seated meals, small class sizes, close-knit residence hall communities, and plenty of one-on-one attention help students view the Wayland community as home. Students and faculty members come to trust and care about one another since they interact not only in the classroom, but also in the residence hall, athletics, and student organizations.

Students gain leadership skills through Student Council, Student Activities Board, Prefect and Proctor positions, and a variety of other involvement opportunities.

Wayland’s mentor program ensures that every student is closely connected with a faculty member. From on-campus activities to day trips throughout the Midwest, students get plenty of exciting opportunities to bond with their peers while having new experiences.

Students are taught the value of giving back to their community through the Day of Caring and service opportunities throughout Dodge County. Because of the Wayland experience, students form lasting friendships and learn just as much outside of the classroom as they do within.
