Dining on campus is provided by Sodexo Food Services and led by a campus legend: Chef Richard. Students enjoy delicious choices at every meal, and the staff is very responsive to suggestions for new additions to the Wayland menu. The kitchen earned as a Blue Zones Project Approved™ restaurant, while Wayland has become the first boarding school in the world to receive this designation. Blue Zones Project is a community-led well-being improvement initiative designed to make healthier choices easier by encouraging simple changes to environment, policy, and social networks.
Because Wayland is a boarding school where many students live on campus, we do our best to provide the comforts of home in our kitchen. Wayland's dining staff can accommodate students with a wide variety of allergies and dietary restrictions (including gluten-free, vegan, and lactose-free options).
If you have any questions about assistance with food allergies, please speak with Chef Richard directly or by email.
