Performing Arts

Students explore their passions in the performance arts through participation in theater productions, musical groups, and personalized lessons (with 14+ different musical lessons offered).   

The performing arts curriculum offers large group instrumental and choral ensembles; private instruction in piano, instrumental, and voice; and classes including Music Theory and Music History. Instrumental Music offers courses including Concert Band and Jazz Band. Choral Music large ensembles include Concert Choir and Contemporary A capella Choir. All large ensembles meet daily during the school day, with weekly small group lessons provided. 

Students who prefer one-on-one instruction may take weekly private piano, instrumental or vocal lessons. These lessons are open to students of all levels and abilities. All performing arts students are encouraged to perform as small groups and individuals. These performances include in district and state festivals, assemblies, concerts, chapel, musicals, plays, and recitals. Performances emphasize different styles and genres of music.
