Establish a Soccer Club in China

Jing Jin
My capstone was to create a soccer club in China that helped school students in a remote, mountainous and poor area school be able to play soccer. I began the project three years ago, during this time, the club sends coaches to school for training and lectures to be able to teach students about soccer. In the summer of 2018, we successfully held a friendly soccer match; allowing more schools to participate in this project. I will keep doing this project and help more kids to play soccer.

I really enjoyed doing this project especially when I coached the players. Those kids were always happy and energetic; influenced by them, I was happy every time I went to their school. The most challenging thing was communication. When I organized the friendly match, I had coordinate and communicate with many schools about all the details. I never realized how much effort it took to organize a friendly match.
