Forensics
Overview
Participating in Wayland's Forensics Team is an excellent opportunity for students to improve their public speaking, communication, writing, critical thinking, and performance skills. Students build skills that help them with eye contact, articulation, and poise, improving their presentation skills in and out of the classroom. Forensics is also a lot of fun!
Students compete in categories that may include:
- Moments in History
- Storytelling
- Solo Humorous (story or monologue)
- Special Occasion Speaking
