Homecoming 2024—October 11-13, 2024

Wayland welcomes all alumni, former faculty and staff, and friends to campus October 11–13, 2024 to celebrate our 100th Homecoming! Please make plans to join us for an in-person weekend of events highlighting everything that makes the Wayland experience special. 

All alumni, former faculty and staff, and friends of the Academy are invited to help us celebrate the milestone reunions (classes ending in a “4” or a “9”).

WEEKEND AGENDA:

Friday
8 AM - 4 PM - School Store Open (Heaton's Union)
11:30 AM - 1 PM - Former Faculty and Staff Reunion Lunch (Frame Lounge)
1-5 PM - Registration (Janik Field House)
2-3:15 PM - Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (Janik Field House)
3:45-4:45 PM - Dedication of the Janik Field House (Janik Field House)
4:30 PM - Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Milwaukee Riverside (George Cobb H'80 Soccer Field)
5:00-6:30 PM - All Alumni Reception (Janik Field House)
6:30 PM - Off-campus Class Gatherings
6:45-9 PM - Class of 1974 50th Reunion Class Dinner (Patterson House)                  

Saturday
9 AM - Noon - Registration (Frame Lounge)
9 AM - 1 PM - School Store Open (Heaton's Union)
10-11 AM - All Alumni Meeting & Brunch (Pickard Dining Hall)
11:15 AM - All Alumni Photo (Wayland Hall steps; rain location: Lindsay Gym)
Noon - 4:30 PM - Afternoon Electives - TBD

• Noon - 1:30 PM - Golden Celebration, reception for classes prior to 1974 (Patterson House)
• Noon - 3 PM - Wayland Museum Open - Kandice Sanders `12, archives volunteer, will be available during that time for questions (under Swan Library)                       

**Golf or Disc Golf can be played at Old Hickory Golf Club during the afternoon. Call 920-887-7179 to reserve your 18-hole tee time (9-hole tee times are on a first-come, first-served basis).

5:30-6:30 PM - Cocktail Reception and Class Photos (Old Hickory Golf Club)
6:30-8:30 PM - Alumni Dinner & Program (Old Hickory Golf Club)

Sunday
9-10 AM - Memorial Service (Kimberly Chapel) recognizing all alumni, faculty, and staff who have passed away
10-11:15 AM - Brunch (Pickard Dining Hall)
