Homecoming 2026—October 9-11, 2026

Wayland welcomes all alumni, former faculty and staff, and friends to campus October 9–11, 2026, to celebrate your alumni reunion at Homecoming! Please make plans to join us for an in-person weekend of events highlighting everything that makes the Wayland experience special. 

All alumni, former faculty and staff, and friends of the Academy are invited to help us celebrate the milestone reunions (classes ending in a “6” or a “1”).

TENTATIVE WEEKEND AGENDA:

Friday
11:15 AM - 12:30 PM - Former Faculty and Staff Reunion Lunch (Frame Lounge) - Invite only
12:30-5 PM - Registration (Janik Field House)
1-2:15 PM - Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (Janik Field House)
4 PM- Football Game: Wayland vs. St. John's Northwestern Academy (Brown Field)
4-5 PM - Class of 1976 Dedication Ceremony (Discovery Hall) - Invite only
5-6:30 PM - All Alumni Reception (Janik Field House)
6:30 PM - Off-campus Class Gatherings
6:45-8:30 PM - Class of 1976 50th Reunion Class Dinner (Patterson House) - Class of 1976 only  (drinks at Cocktails to follow)
          
Saturday
9 AM - Noon - Registration (Frame Lounge)
9:30 - 10:30 AM - All Alumni Meeting & Brunch (Pickard Dining Hall)
11 AM - All Alumni Photo (Wayland Hall steps; rain location: Lindsay Gym)
12 PM - Vrabec Hall Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Tours (Swan Library Patio)
1 PM (tentative) - Soccer Game: Wayland vs. Central WI Christian School (George Cobb Field)
1 PM - Golden Celebration (Swan Library), celebrating class years 1975 and older
1 PM - Alumni Board Meeting (McKinstry Conference Room, Roundy Hall)
1 PM - Campus Tour (Roundy Hall steps)
1-3 PM - Wayland Museum Open (under Swan Library) 
4-5 PM - Burnham Hall Lower Level Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (Burnham Hall), celebrating the completion of Sunny's Space, Hamar Conference Room, and the Class of 1970 Lounge    

**Golf or Disc Golf can be played at Old Hickory Golf Club during the afternoon. Call 920-887-7179 to reserve your 18-hole tee time (9-hole tee times are on a first-come, first-served basis).

5:30-6:30 PM - Cocktail Reception and Class Photos (Old Hickory Golf Club)
6:30-8:30 PM - Alumni Dinner & Program (Old Hickory Golf Club)

Sunday
9-10 AM - Memorial Service (Kimberly Chapel) recognizing all alumni, faculty, and staff who have passed away
10-11:15 AM - Farewell Brunch (Pickard Dining Hall)
