Choosing a high school should be about far more than just finances—it should be about that moment when you feel absolutely 100% at home on a campus.
Still, the costs of living and learning together are real, and we’re committed to ensuring Wayland Academy remains accessible for students from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
There are a number of ways we work to keep a Wayland education within reach. The first begins with a need-blind admissions promise: we will never consider your family’s ability to pay in the admissions process, plain and simple. Wayland is rare here among boarding schools, and we’re okay with that. We’re looking for thinkers and doers who are going to dive in to live on our 55 acres of paradise, high school students ready to think boldly and creatively together.
The first begins with a need-blind admissions promise: we will never consider your family’s ability to pay in the admissions process, plain and simple.
When a student is admitted, we make a commitment to meet a family’s full demonstrated need—through need-based financial aid grants, endowed scholarships, and Merit Scholarships—never loans. Searching for a school can be more straightforward, more transparent, more honest. The approach we take at Wayland puts your student at the center of what we do.
With a robust financial aid budget and a commitment to access you won’t find at most other schools, Wayland is able to welcome students from every background and from around the world. The result is a community and an education you won’t find elsewhere, a truly diverse student body that bring boundless talent, creativity, energy, and passion to campus.
