Wayland Senior AnnaSophia Schultz Selected as Recipient of Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce's Emerging Leader Award

AnnaSophia Schultz `25—Emerging Leader Award Recipient

Wayland Academy Senior AnnaSophia Schultz has been selected as one of Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Leader honorees.

Emerging Leader award recipients are the brightest young leaders in the Beaver Dam area who have demonstrated success in their schools and the communities they represent. These individuals are rising stars showing leadership and making a positive impact in their schools and where they live.

AnnaSophia will be recognized at the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce’s Black Ties and Blue Jeans Awards Gala on Wednesday, April 2, at Springbrook events center.

AnnaSophia is a dedicated advocate for her community and beyond, using her leadership and compassion to drive meaningful change. As president of the UNICEF Club at Wayland Academy, she has led initiatives to support children’s education in Sudan, including organizing a car wash fundraiser that raised $1,000 to help girls in South Sudan attend school.

Her commitment to local service is equally inspiring. During her senior year, she created a comprehensive resource directory for families in need in Beaver Dam and organized multiple food and clothing drives benefiting local organizations like PAVE.

"AnnaSophia is a truly exceptional student, dedicated to making a meaningful impact on her community. She has worked tirelessly to organize collections of resources for families in need, a key component of her larger senior capstone project. Her efforts reflect a deep commitment to both knowledge and character, demonstrating that even the smallest acts of service can leave a lasting, positive mark on society," noted teacher and club advisor Carolina Ganske.

Academically, AnnaSophia ranks among the top 10 students in the Class of 2025 and serves as a tutor, supporting her peers' success. Her dedication extends beyond the classroom—she previously competed internationally as part of a synchronized skating team. A true emerging leader, AnnaSophia embodies selflessness and a commitment to making a difference. Her work today lays the foundation for a brighter future for many.

AnnaSophia is a senior at Wayland Academy. Her parents are Amy Bradley-Schultz and Anthony Schultz of Beaver Dam.

Congratulations, AnnaSophia!
