Wayland Academy Welcomes German Students and Faculty from CJD Elze

Wayland Academy recently hosted students and faculty from our longtime partner school, CJD Elze in Germany, for a two-week visit to campus. This longstanding exchange program, established in the early 1990s by faculty emeritus Jim Borrud H`75, continues to foster international friendship and cultural understanding. During their stay, the visiting students immersed themselves in campus life—participating in Homecoming Spirit Week festivities, attending classes, and connecting with the Wayland community. A group of Wayland students had the opportunity to travel to Germany and visit CJD Elze over spring break 2025, continuing the tradition of meaningful exchange between our schools.
