Ring-the-Bell Student-Athletes of the Week—May 20
We are closing out the academic year and the spring season by celebrating more Ring the Bell Student-Athletes! Join us in congratulating this week's Ring the Bell Student-Athletes! These student-athletes are positive, diligent, hard-working, and teachable. 🎉
- Baseball—Jonah Ratajczak `25: Jonah is being recognized for keeping the positive vibes and stepping in to do what is needed for the team! Way to Ring the Bell, Jonah!
- Golf—Jay Cho `26: Jay persisted over 18 holes in challenging conditions at the Trailways Conference golf championship meet at the venerable Old Hickory Country Club. He demonstrated great sportsmanship while shooting a team-best 99 to lead the Big Red effort.
- Lacrosse—Albert Kim `27: Albert is this week’s athlete of the week because of his hard work and improvement throughout this season. Albert would always ball hunt after practice and do countless other tasks to help the program succeed. Albert is the lacrosse athlete of the week for these and numerous different reasons.
- Rowing—Tristan Kittel `27: Tristan has been a stalwart member of our crew team all year and has learned a tremendous amount as a coxswain.
We applaud his diligence and commitment to improving every day and helping to make rowing a better experience for everyone! - Girls Soccer—Charlotte Moss `24: Charlotte stepped up and played an important role in helping our back line vs Lourdes. She played with confidence and was always looking to play forward and connect passes with her teammates. She committed to playing the entire game in a new position and showed leadership by putting in the work. Well done!
- Softball—Arianna Ellis `24: Arianna grew immensely during the softball season. She was a consistent role model for the new students and served as captain for every game. Arianna was incredibly teachable and was always open to learning. We will miss her next year!!
- Boys Tennis—Andy Bui `25 and Jack Yan `25: Jack and Andy have been a dynamic duo this tennis season! They both use strong groundstrokes and directed volleys to win their way through their matches. As a doubles team, they have earned a winning record this season and have helped our team win numerous meets.
- Track and Field—Osaya Sule `24 and Lucia Mc Guinness `24: Seniors Osaya and Lucia share athlete of the week this week as both senior athletes broke decades-old school records. Lucia broke the record for girls’ discus, and Osaya broke the record for the 400M dash (this week).
Way to go, Big Red! ❤️ Keep ringing the bell, personally, athletically, and academically! 🔔 🔔 🔔
