Join us in congratulating this week's Ring the Bell student-athletes! 🫶🏽 These students are ringing the bell personally, athletically, and academically. They are leading by example for their peers. 🎉

  • Boys Basketball—Tyrique Jean Jacques `25: Tyrique Jean Jacques always gives his best effort in every drill at practice. Even though he does not play as much as some teammates, Tyrique is always prepared when he is called upon for an opportunity to compete. He never backs down from a challenge, and when he struggles, Tyrique demonstrates resilience in dusting himself off and trying again, epitomizing Ring the Bell habits.
  • Girls Basketball—Ava Barudin `26: Ava joined the team towards the last third of the basketball season. She earned her stripes by playing with the JV, quickly caught on and joined the Varsity team full-time. Ava provided a spark off the bench but was so much more. Her hustle, mental toughness, positive spirit, willingness to do anything asked of her, ability to learn on the fly, and overall positive attitude helped contribute to our team's success down the home stretch during some very important games. She did much of this with a smile on her face! It was a joy having her on the team. Ava exemplifies what it means to Ring the Bell!
  • Forensics—The Entire Team: The Forensics RTB team members for the week are—the WHOLE team!  The team participated in our final regular season meet on Saturday at St. Mary Catholic in Neenah. We brought home a 2nd place team trophy in our division, as well as some individual trophies—Jonah Ratajczak, 1st place Prose, Kennedy Norris, 3rd place Prose, Ana Mlsna, 5th place Poetry, and Haley Bislew, Maddie Clark, and Genesis Garcia-Ruiz, 2nd Place Play Acting. Way to Go, Bananas! 🍌 Coach Throndsen noted, "I'm looking forward to taking the team to the State Meet in April!"
  • Powerlifting—Javan Hirwa `24 and Ava Loppnow `24: The boys and girls powerlifting Ring the Bell Student-Athletes of the Week honors for powerlifting go to two senior athletes, Ava Loppnow and Jivan Hirwa, for their leadership throughout the year! These two can be counted upon to lead by example and help raise the bar for the younger athletes within the program. We thank them for the legacy they have left behind—the woodpile is definitely higher than they found it. Way to Ring the Bell!

Way to go, Big Red! Keep that bell ringing. 🔔 🔔 🔔
