Ring-the-Bell Student-Athletes of the Month for January 2026

Wayland Academy is proud to recognize our January Ring the Bell Student-Athletes of the Month—students who embody competitive excellence, leadership, and the character that defines Big Red athletics. ❤️

• Caden Farrell `29—Wrestling: Caden is representative of Wayland's athlete of the month for multiple reasons in the month of January. Athletically, he qualified for the Challenge Series Tournament, placing second in his region, propelled our team forward, going undefeated in January at duals, and capped the month off by becoming our first wrestling conference champion at the Trailways Conference Tournament. However, the bigger reason Caden should be the athlete of the month is his attitude and attendance at all wrestling activities and practices. He is present at all activities and has a positive can-do attitude, whether it is improving his own wrestling or helping his practice partners improve. Caden is a real asset to the Wayland wrestling program. 

• Jacqueline Fogarty `26 and Charlotte Hoar `26—Cheerleading: Jacqueline and Charlotte are three-year veterans and founding members of Wayland Academy’s re-established varsity cheerleading team. They have played an instrumental role in building the program into what it is today. As co-captains, they are exceptional athletes, performers, and leaders who lead with empathy, integrity, and unwavering school spirit. Wayland is fortunate to have these remarkable young women as leaders for Big Red athletics.
