Ring the Bell Student-Athlete of the Month: Isabella Mosquera `29—Swimming

Congratulations to the August Ring the Bell Student-Athletes of the Month! Join us in celebrating these Big Red student-athletes, who are ringing the bell personally, athletically, and academically.🔔 

  • Sybren "Sy" Holwerda '28—Rowing: Sy always asks if there is something else needed before and after practices. He has grown a lot and sits in whatever seat I put him in. His grades are very good, and he is a model student, as well as a very kind young man.

 

  • Isabella Mosquera `29—Swimming: As a newbie on the swim team, Isabella has quickly become a natural leader of the swim team with her positive, "go-get 'em" attitude. At the recent Badger Large Conference Relays, Isabella spearheaded cheering for the competition when we did not have anyone swimming the event. Isabella is, without a doubt, the Ring the Bell athlete of the month in every way.
