Two Wayland Academy students have been selected for one of the state’s most prestigious music honors.
Ellie Sinclair `28 and Sylvan Becraft `29 have both been accepted into the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) State Honors Choir, a nationally recognized program that brings together top high school musicians from across the state.
Participation in the WSMA State Honors Music Project offers students exceptional opportunities for both musical and personal growth. Sinclair and Becraft will take part in an intensive four-day summer camp in June, where they will rehearse and prepare alongside other outstanding vocalists.
Their experience will culminate in a featured performance this October in Madison as part of the Wisconsin State Music Conference.
Earning a place in the Honors Choir showcases their musical dedication and highlights the vibrant music community at Wayland Academy.
