Alumni and friends of Wayland Academy become members of the Society by including Wayland in their wills or by making the Academy the beneficiary of charitable trusts, annuities, estate agreements, or life insurance. Today, The Heritage Society includes more than fifty loyal alumni and friends. Please consider joining The Heritage Society by making a lasting gift or bequest to Wayland Academy.

Most Heritage Society gifts are designated to support unrestricted or restricted endowment funds. Endowment funds are a set of gifts that are invested to generate annual income for student scholarships, faculty salaries, academic programs, building maintenance, and other operating expenses. Wayland's endowment helps the Academy to better plan financially for the future knowing it can count on a certain amount of income from year to year.
