Activities and Clubs

Students may join a variety of clubs and/or participate in a variety of co-curricular activities that cover a variety of interests. New clubs may be formed as interest for them is demonstrated.

The Cum Laude Society - The purpose of the Cum Laude Society is to promote learning and sound scholarship in secondary schools. The Cum Laude Society is the national honorary society, the Phi Beta Kappa, for independent secondary schools

The Pillars is the Wayland yearbook and is published at the end of the school year. Students interested in a journalism experience are urged to join the Pillars's staff.

The Wayland Kaleidoscope is the student-produced fine arts magazine, which is published in the spring. Entries have included poetry, short stories, editorials, photography and drawings.

The Thespian Society is an honorary organization of more than 3,000 secondary schools. The aim of the society is the advancement and improvement of theater arts.

The Ecology Club members help to facilitate the school's on-campus recycling projects and to promote Earth Day observations.
