Why a boarding school? Because Wayland Academy holds a significant advantage over high school. Fall and Spring Family Weekends give parents the opportunity to visit their son or daughter, attend classes with their child, attend a sporting event, and meet with faculty, mentors, coaches, administration and your son's or daughter's friends.
Our 24-hour community offers small class sizes and individual attention from faculty in a close-knit environment. We will get your student involved from day one. How do they juggle it all? With campus-wide planning and cooperation in scheduling.
Students take individual and ensemble instrument lessons during the day. Sports teams practice after school. Drama rehearsals are held at night but scheduled around the two-hour required study time. We try to make it possible for your student to do it all at Wayland.
