Wear comfortable shoes.
Come with a plan. You will be given a list of attendees prior to going to the fair so have an idea of whose table you want to visit.
It is helpful to have a tote bag or plastic bag to hold all the brochures that you'll pick up.
Fill out an inquiry card for every school you are interested in, even if you are already on their mailing list. Schools use these cards to track the number of contacts you have with the school and use this information to gauge your level of interest.
This isn't the time to discuss personal issues regarding your application. Most representatives won't have time to have a detailed conversation with you. If this is your one chance to speak in person with an admission officer and you need to talk to them about your application, ask if you can briefly meet with them when they are less busy or at the end of the fair.
Do ask questions about the school.
Be polite.
Unless there is a crowd around the table, take the time to introduce yourself and shake hands.
Don't let your parents do all the talking.
