Charitable gifts to Wayland Academy provide the foundation for the school to ensure that current and future generations of young people will benefit from Wayland’s promise of opening their minds to the pursuit of knowledge and their hearts to the development of strong character.
Wayland, as it has since its beginning over 150 years ago, relies on the generous support from alumni, parents and friends of the Academy to maintain the Academy’s budget. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of a Wayland education. The Academy Fund (Wayland’s annual unrestricted giving program), offsets the difference between tuition revenue and the Academy’s operating costs.
Gifts to The Academy Fund, The Endowment Fund, to a Capital Campaign such as the Wayland Hall Renovation, or to special fundraising events such as the Spring Gala and Auction, truly make a difference to Wayland Academy’s current and future students and faculty.
