Admission

Welcome! You begin your Wayland journey here, and you join 167 years of students who sat where you sat (well, except not behind a computer, but you get the idea), contemplating all the community, connection, and opportunity that awaits as a student at Wayland Academy.

I'm excited for you. I'm excited for you to ask questions, to meet our faculty, to visit our online events, and to discover what makes Wayland a distinctive and distinctly fun choice among boarding schools.

As you learn more about us and apply, you’ll discover a place that is brimming with opportunities and traditions: cheering on more than 13 Big Red sports teams each year, welcoming family and alumni back to campus each fall for Homecoming, and passing the baton of student leadership in the uniquely Wayland way of the centuries-old Axe Hunt.

All of it together is a place, a community, where curiosity is cool and your fan club is a student body that spans more than 25 countries and 15 states.

What will you bring to Wayland? Explore our pages, drop us a line, and join us for an event. We're looking forward to meeting you soon!

Just a peek into the Wayland Experience.
