Lindsay Complex

The Lindsay Complex serves many purposes in students’ daily lives. The building houses a small gymnasium where students can shoot hoops or play soccer in the evenings and on weekends. It also hosts the school’s theater including a stage, costume wardrobe, props room, dressing rooms and a newly refurbished light booth.

The side wing of the building features the Student Union.  In the evenings, before and after study hall, students can relax, watch TV, play video games, pool, and foosball and on the weekends the Union features a snack bar primarily operated by students. The second floor over the Union features a dance studio and exercise room available for student use, and the third floor is occupied by the art studio, whose large arched window overlooks front campus and provides ample natural light for students to work on paintings, sculptures, stained glass and other projects.

Attached to the Union, Sol Wolfe `34 Memorial Pool is used primarily by the Wayland swim team. Occasionally, on the rare instances when Wisconsin gets too hot during the school year, the pool is opened up for students to take a dip during their free time after classes.
